Operations Area Manager
Our client is the leading self-storage operator with 66 centers in major Spanish cities (Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Seville, Bilbao, and Vitoria). In 2019, they expanded to Portugal with 5 centers in Lisbon, and in 2020, to France with 3 centers in Paris, totaling 74 self-storage centers across 3 countries. Now, they are expanding to Italy!

Main Functions:
Team Management:
- Conduct interviews, oversee training, and motivate teams.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and competencies.
- Manage salary costs and participate in the hiring process.
- Ensure training compliance and make termination decisions.
- Monitor attendance, communicate results, and propose growth plans.
- Review performance and propose necessary changes.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure customer relationship quality and train teams in excellent service.
- Maintain center maintenance, cleanliness, and security.
- Handle complaints, report incidents, and manage debtor relationships.
- Ensure unit vacancy and report risks.
Area Management - Sales:
- Implement sales processes, manage pipeline, and analyze reports.
- Visit key accounts, achieve billing objectives, and coordinate other sales.
- Prepare operational tactics and support zone sales.
Pricing and Promotions:
- Monitor price compliance and discuss risks and opportunities.
Budget/Forecast Management:
- Prepare and launch action plans to achieve objectives.
Center Operations:
- Implement debt management and administrative procedures.
- Conduct audits and propose changes for improved efficiency.
Special Projects:
- Lead cross-functional projects involving other departments.
Italy Expansion:
- Collaborate on operational actions related to the country opening.
- Assist in hiring, market analysis, coordination, and finding movers.
Professional Profile:
- Preferably hold a university degree (diploma or bachelor's).
- Consolidated experience as an Area Manager in the self-storage or retail sector.
- Target-driven mindset.
- Proficient in English and Spanish for communication in meetings, email correspondence, and company document comprehension and writing.
