Regional Business Development Manager - Valencia
Our client is a multinational company dedicated to offering language programs!
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive the growth and expansion of our educational business in Valencia. This role will work closely with the Marketing Director to ensure the successful achievement of business goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales experience, in-depth knowledge of the education sector in Valencia, Spain and native-level Spanish and high-level English language skills.
Responsibilities:
- Implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the educational sector in Valencia
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, government bodies, and industry influencers.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing and promotional campaigns to increase brand visibility and awareness.
- Provide strategic guidance and input to the product development team based on market insights and customer feedback.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and business growth.
- Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in the educational sector in Valencia, Spain.
Requirements:
- Strong B2B sales experience, preferably in the educational sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the Spanish educational market, including key players, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Native Spanish speaker and high level of proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Master's degree in business administration, education, or a related field (preferred).
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and take ownership of projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
Note: Candidates with educational sales experience in Valencia will be given preference due to their familiarity with the local market and customer base.
